Underwater Photography Group Invites Overseas Photographers To Enter Competition

The British Society of Underwater Photographers is accepting entries for its “International Focus-on” competition. The oddly-titled contest has been held for each of the last two years and is open to any photographer anywhere in the world. underw.jpg

Entries are free but limited to one per photographer, and must, of course, show at least a partly underwater scene. Photos that have finished in the top three places of other photographic competitions are excluded.

Unlike many other photographic competitions though, each photographer is judged by his or her peers. The winner will be declared following a vote at a meeting of the society’s members on 15 August.

There’s no sign of any prizes but a pat on the back from other photographers is always nice.

The deadline is 14 August, and your entry can be submitted online here.
