What are the special settings you use in Photomatix? And what exposures do you use?

If you live on the east coast , i.e. DC: Don't bother with Vicaso. Backoffice slacks for clients and photographers alike, maybe due to the 3hr time difference.

Jules is right about HDR being great, but worng about post production taking a long time. I train all my photographers at www.home2market.com how to auto batch process their HDR images using special settings in Photomatix. Here's a virtual tour that shows the results you can get from this: http://www.home2market.com/20618

HDR is great, but takes forever in post production. Try http://www.vicaso.com for photography jobs that don't require post production

I would highly reccomend following Scott Hargis and his gallery on flickr as he shares a lot of information on lighting. He is a lighting expert and has wonderful work.

HDR is useful for more accurately representing what someone would see when visiting a property.

On the lighting question: is the use of HDR becoming more prevalent? I have used it on my outdoor photography and on a few occasions with interior real estate shots that included bright windows. As long as you don't crank up the strength slider too much, the scenes remain real.

How do most people light the interior? I had a shoot like this once and quickly found out that I needed a lot of light to make it feel airy, and open. This was a challenge for my flashes trying to light a whole room. I was wondering how the people who specialize in this actually work on lighting the interior.
